A total of nine individuals athletes, three teams, two supports and one coach are included in the Class of 2023. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Panthers Den of Pana High School.

The individual inductees are Ken “Moose” Bland (Class of 1979); Stan Bockewitz (Class of 1971); the Coady Brothers - Patrick, Edward and Thomas; Julianne McMillen-Green (Class of 2003); Kay Metzger Groll (Class of 1975); Kent Holthaus (Class of 1991); Wayne Siegert (Class of 1947); Rachelle Harbert-Senese (Class of 2008); and Larry G. Spinner (Class of 1953).

Two state basketball champion runners-up are two of the teams included in this year’s class. They are the 2001 Pana High School boys basketball team and the 2003 Pana High School girls basketball team. The third team selected is the 1965 Pana High School football team. The two supports of Pana athletics selected are Art Kronshagan (Class of 1940) and Charlie Downs (Class of 1948). Long time coach at Pana High School Kevin Duez (Class of 1968) is the coach selected among this year’s inductees.
