ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Pana Sports Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that originated on June 7, 1996, to convert a 10-acre plot of land on the northeast side of Pana, Illinois from an old dormant drive-in theatre known as the Tanner Drive-In, into a sports complex featuring a regulation size soccer field, baseball field and softball field.  The complex is now named Tanner Park in memory and honor of the Tanner Family who donated the property to the Foundation. Today, it serves as the home for both boys' and girls' high school soccer teams, the high school girls' softball team, and the high school boys' junior varsity baseball team.
